Hi, I’m Abi, a Brand & Social Media Strategist!

With nearly a decade of experience leading digital strategy for global brands and ambitious businesses, I help you show up online with confidence, clarity, and content that actually connects.

I was Global Social Media Manager at Manchester City FC, where I led strategy and content for over 100 million followers and worked directly with platforms like Instagram and TikTok to maximise impact. So I know what works, and more importantly, why.

Now, through Social Plus, I bring that knowledge and expertise to passionate business owners. Whether you want to hand your socials over or get the tools and strategy to do it yourself, I meet you where you are - with expert insight, good vibes, and zero jargon.

2014-17: First Class degree in Broadcast Journalism, Salford University

Here, I was named Student of the Year and Journalist of the Year! This is where my absolute love of storytelling was born.
2017: Manchester United - Matchday Social Media Editor Freelance Football Writer

Long days, lots of travel between Manchester and Norwich, and lots of learning! This was the start of my career in Sports Media.
2017 - 2022: Manchester City - Content Executive > Social Media Producer & Presenter > Global Social Media Manager

This was life changing for me! Working at City taught me everything I know about digital storytelling through content and social media. I led on the social media strategy and management across all social media platforms (for over 100 million followers!), represented the Club on a global stage as the match day lead for men’s, women’s and academy games, and led on the social media planning, production and execution of Club-wide campaigns such as the launch of City’s retail partnership with PUMA, player signings, finals and pre-season tours. I was also trusted by Meta to speak on their Premier League panel on creating content for social media.
2022 - 23: Ice Travel Group (TravelSupermarket & icelolly.com) - Social Media & Influencer Manager

I absolutely LOVED this role! During my time here, defined, developed and executed the social media strategy, guidelines and content creation across both icelolly.com and TravelSupermarket’s channels (plus the creation of new social accounts!) I also had the opportunity lead on all influencer activity, which included planning and overseeing a creator trip to Benidorm!
2024: My own business!

Started out as Tailor-Made Social Media…and in September 2025, we became Social Plus!
